Apprentice Winner Karishma Vijay Opens Up About Body Insecurities in Emotional Video

Karishma Vijay, the winner of this year's The Apprentice and founder of skincare brand Kishkin, has shared an emotional Instagram video detailing her struggles with body image and mental health. The 29-year-old, who secured a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar, admitted she has been neglecting her well-being amid a whirlwind of personal and professional changes.

In the video, Vijay described how her life has 'done a complete 180' in the past year, including moving house, launching a business, winning the show, getting engaged, and planning a wedding. She said: 'Life may look great on social media but the God honest truth is that I’m not doing very well.' She added that she is 'the heaviest I’ve ever been' and feels 'always exhausted.'

Vijay's candid post drew support from fellow contestants and fans. Rothna Akhtar commented, 'Always here for you babygirl,' while Harry Clough wrote, 'You are absolutely killing life but most important is to look after you.'

This is not the first challenge Vijay has faced. She previously told Metro that she lost £25,000 worth of stock when a shipment sank during a typhoon near Hong Kong. The disaster prompted her to apply for The Apprentice as a 'last chance' to launch her business.
