Reality TV star Sam Thompson has moved swiftly to quash any speculation about trouble in his new romance, following a cryptic social media post that had fans worried.
From Cryptic Post to Clear Confirmation
The 33-year-old television personality, who went public with DJ and model Talitha Balinska last month, sparked concern at the start of January. He posted a photo of himself cuddling his cat on a sofa, captioned "Starting 2026 as I mean to go on." The solitary nature of the image led to online whispers that he might be single again.
However, any rumours of a split were firmly put to bed on Friday when Sam took to his Instagram Stories. He shared a beaming selfie with Talitha, adorning it with a red heart emoji. The affectionate snap served as a clear signal that the couple are very much together.
A Relationship Going from Strength to Strength
Sam and Talitha's relationship has progressed quickly since they first met at a photoshoot in 2023 and reconnected earlier this year. In early December, during an episode of his Staying Relevant podcast with best friend Pete Wicks, Sam excitedly announced they were official.
"I've got a girlfriend. I've got a girlfriend!" he declared, before recounting the sweet moment he asked her. "I just said, 'Look, I really like you... I wouldn't be dating someone this amount of time if I didn't think it had legs to last. So will you be my girlfriend?' And she said 'yes'."
Family Introductions and Festive Firsts
The couple have already reached significant milestones, spending their first Christmas together with Sam's family. Furthermore, Sam has introduced Talitha to his sister Louise, her fiancé Ryan, and their son Leo.
While Sam was in Australia filming for I'm A Celeb's spin-off show Unpacked in December, Talitha was settling into his £3 million Chelsea home. This new relationship marks Sam's first since his split from former girlfriend Zara McDermott, who is now dating ex-One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.
The pair confirmed their breakup last year after spending the festive season apart, citing a tough year and growing apart due to busy careers and differing life goals.
