Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has posted a loving tribute to his daughter Holly, just days after her high-profile Christmas wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. The event was marred by the notable absence of the groom's family.
A Father's Birthday Message Amidst Wedding Fallout
Taking to Instagram on New Year's Eve, the 59-year-old television personality wished his twins, Holly and Jack, a happy 26th birthday. He shared nostalgic childhood photos, acknowledging Holly's new combined surname.
"Happy Birthday to our wonderful twins! @hollyramsaypeaty & Jack there’s not enough words to explain how proud we are and watching you both grow into incredible individuals is such a joy! Love you so much Mum & Dad," Ramsay wrote in the caption.
This public display of family pride follows Holly's wedding to Adam Peaty on Saturday, December 27. The couple exchanged vows at the historic Bath Abbey in Somerset, followed by a luxurious reception at the Georgian Kin House manor.

The lavish ceremony was attended by a host of famous faces, including Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham and their children. Other guests included chef Marcus Wareing and entrepreneur Sara Davies. However, the celebrations were clouded by a reported feud between Adam Peaty and his own family. His mother, Caroline, along with most of his relatives, were not invited to the wedding. Speaking to MailOnline on the eve of the ceremony, Caroline expressed her profound hurt.
"As a mother, all you want for your children to do is be happy in their relationships," she said. "It needs to be said... A wedding day is such a happy event, and I think family should have been the priority at that wedding." She heartbreakingly added that the fallout felt like "they have cut my heart out".

The wedding featured a banquet of prawn cocktail, beef Wellington, and pan-roasted halibut, with a traditional cake served at 8pm. Holly's fashion choices also made headlines.
