The family of Olympic champion Adam Peaty are said to be dealing with the heartbreaking fallout after being excluded from his wedding to Holly Ramsay, as a bitter public rift shows no signs of healing.

Peaty, 31, tied the knot with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's daughter, Holly, in a ceremony at Bath Abbey, but the joyous occasion was overshadowed by a notable absence. The swimmer chose not to invite his mother, Caroline, his father, or his brother, James, to the wedding, a decision that has left them devastated.
In the lead-up to the event, Caroline Peaty expressed her profound hurt, telling the Mail: "I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out." She revealed the wider impact on the family, stating it was the first Christmas they had not been together, adding, "my family is broken."
Gordon Ramsay's 'Dad' Comment Adds Fuel to the Fire
The family's pain was reportedly compounded after the wedding when Gordon Ramsay shared a gushing social media post. Commenting on a clip of Peaty's wedding speech, in which the Olympian said he would "always choose" Holly, Ramsay referred to himself as "dad." This has been interpreted by some as a subtle dig, seemingly solidifying which side Peaty has chosen in the ongoing dispute.
A source close to the Peaty family told The Sun: "It’s been a really emotional time for them as a family. They’re coming to terms with what has happened and that Adam has picked his side. They’re keeping their heads down and trying to move on quietly. It’s clear Adam’s made his choice."
Brother Allegedly Sent Threatening Messages
Reports suggest the rift stems, in part, from a falling out with Peaty's brother, James. James had initially been set to be a groomsman but was later uninvited.
