Orlando Bloom's 49th Birthday Bash: Conga Lines & Shots at Aspen's Elite Gay Ski Week
Orlando Bloom's Wild 49th Birthday Party in Aspen

Actor Orlando Bloom marked his 49th birthday in spectacular fashion, throwing a wild celebration at an exclusive private members' club in Aspen, Colorado. The newly-single star was reportedly the life of the party, dancing into the early hours surrounded by Hollywood's elite.

A Night of Celebration at The Caribou Club

The festivities took place at the ritzy Caribou Club, a swanky private venue in Aspen. According to sources speaking to Page Six, Bloom spent the night on the dance floor, at one point leading a conga line and fist-pumping energetically. "He was on the dance floor for like three hours," an onlooker revealed, adding that he was a "good dancer" who was in "full celebration of his birthday."

The party followed an earlier dinner at the same venue hosted by AspenOut, a non-profit organisation benefiting the LGBTQIA+ community. The club then transitioned into an unofficial after-party that lasted well into the morning. The guest list was described as an "elbow-to-elbow elite" crowd from Hollywood, Palm Beach, and New York, many of whom were in town for Aspen's annual Gay Ski Week.

High-Profile Guests and Birthday Shots

Among the notable attendees were several prominent figures from the entertainment and business worlds. The guest list reportedly included:

  • Thom Felicia from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
  • Bruce Bozzi, husband of talent agency head Bryan Lourd
  • Producer and Aspen Snow Ball founder Thomas Pierce
  • Bravo star Rene Fris
  • Barry's Bootcamp Executive Chairman Joey Gonzalez

Bloom was also seen dancing with socialite Jamie Tisch, who is married to billionaire and New York Giants owner Steve Tisch. Revelers were said to be sending the birthday boy "shots left and right" throughout the night.

Life After Katy Perry

The birthday bash comes as Bloom navigates life following his split from fiancée Katy Perry last year. The former couple, who began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019, share a daughter born in August 2020. Representatives confirmed their separation in June, stating they were "shifting their relationship" to focus on co-parenting their child.

Bloom broke his silence on the split in September, telling the Today show, "I'm great, man. I'm so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter... We're going to be great. It's nothing but love." He had been a regular visitor to Aspen, having spent time there annually over the past decade with Perry.

Meanwhile, Perry has since moved on and made her romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Instagram official. The pair were first linked in July and went public in October during celebrations for Perry's 41st birthday in Paris. A source close to the singer said she is "having a lot of fun" with Trudeau and that it's "exactly what she needs right now."

As for what Bloom seeks next, the actor recently offered a light-hearted insight. When asked on TikTok whether he preferred a partner with "style or funds," he quipped, "Both," before laughing and questioning, "You have to pick one of those?" He also shared advice for those going through a hard time, urging them to "get into your body, get out of your head" and to keep creating.
