Natalie Portman Pregnant with Third Child, Shares Joy

Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman has joyfully announced that she is pregnant with her third child. The 44-year-old star shared the news in an exclusive interview with Harper's Bazaar, revealing that the father is her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable.

Expressing Gratitude and Awareness

Portman expressed profound gratitude for the pregnancy, stating, 'Tanguy and I are very excited. I'm just very grateful. I know it's such a privilege and a miracle.' Her appreciation is deeply rooted in her personal background and experiences.

As the daughter of a fertility doctor, Portman grew up with an acute awareness of the challenges many face in conceiving. 'I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,' she noted. 'I have so many people I love who've had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It's such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it's also not an easy thing.'

A Calm and Cherished Experience

The actress, best known for her role in 'Black Swan,' elaborated on her current mindset, contrasting it with her younger years. 'There is a gratitude that when you're young, you don't necessarily grasp,' she shared. 'And there's a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day.'

Portman added that she is cherishing every moment, especially with the awareness that this might be her last pregnancy. 'And knowing it's probably the last time, I cherish every moment,' she said.

Family Life and Wellness Routine

Portman has two children from her previous marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied: a 14-year-old son named Aleph and a 9-year-old daughter named Amalia. She emphasized the importance of family time during this period.

'I have more energy than I thought I might,' Portman remarked about her current physical state. To maintain her strength, she is engaging in swimming and gyrotonics, a form of exercise that combines elements of yoga, dance, and swimming. She also highlighted that spending quality time with her children is a priority, calling it 'always the best.'

Her overall sentiment reflects a blend of joy, thankfulness, and mindful appreciation for the journey ahead, as she prepares to welcome a new addition to her family with Destable.
