Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor Split After Seven Years (04.02.2026)

Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor have reportedly ended their marriage after seven years together, marking what sources describe as a "difficult period" for both individuals. The couple, who first met on the E4 reality series Made In Chelsea, tied the knot in 2019 and share two young daughters: Sienna, aged five, and Aurelia, four.

Sources Reveal Personal Journeys Led to Separation

Insiders close to the pair have indicated that the decision to part ways followed serious conversations about their future, with Millie's evolving self-awareness and openness about her sexuality reportedly playing a significant role. According to a source quoted by The Sun, Millie has recently embraced a deeper understanding of her identity, separate from her roles as a mother and wife.

"She’s really come to understand who she is as a person - not a mother, not a wife but actually as herself. It’s the first time she’s been able to be fully open about her sexuality and, of course, it’s been a lot to deal with," the source explained. "Part of her is always wondering if she missed out on a relationship with a woman and what that could have been like."

Differing Interests and Paths Cited

The source further highlighted that Millie's growing involvement in health and wellness pursuits, which reportedly did not align with Hugo's interests, contributed to the couple drifting apart. "She is also engrossed in health and wellness and that has never really been Hugo’s bag. They have been best friends forever but they are on very different paths now," the insider added.

Despite these revelations, another source exclusively told The Mirror that the split was mutually agreed upon and remains amicable. "Their split was very much amicable. There's no real reason for their split; it just happens sometimes," they stated, emphasising that the former couple continue to maintain a positive relationship.

Millie's Previous Comments on Sexuality and Drinking

Last year, Millie opened up about her experiences on the podcast Saturn Returns, discussing how she previously used alcohol as a means to explore her attraction to women. She reflected on having crushes on girls during her school years and a lack of awareness about her feelings at the time.

"I had crushes on girls at school and I just didn’t have the awareness to go, 'I like girls as well.' I’ve explored a lot of my relationship to women," Millie shared. "Obviously I’m married to a man. It’s not something that affects our relationship at all now but looking back I realise that was one of the reasons I drank in a destructive way, because there was a part of myself I didn’t understand."

She clarified that this behaviour is now in her past, stating, "Now, I’m not going out and drinking and doing wild, crazy s**t. I am not going to walk up to women and snog them just because I’m attracted to women — just in the same way I wouldn’t go up to a man and snog them."

The separation concludes a chapter in the lives of two prominent figures from the British reality television scene, with both Millie and Hugo focusing on their individual journeys and co-parenting responsibilities moving forward.
