Candace Owens Hits Back at Trump Over Truth Social Post Attacking Former MAGA Figures

Candace Owens has fired back at Donald Trump after the US president posted on Truth Social attacking several former MAGA-aligned figures, including herself. In a recent episode of her podcast Candace, the political commentator read out Trump's post in full and accused him of a 'stunning break from reality'.

Trump's post claimed that Owens, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly and Alex Jones 'think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs'. He added: 'They are stupid people. They know it. Their families know it, and everyone else knows it too.'

Owens responded: 'Only a fool or someone under the express direction of one could have thought to hit send on what you published on Truth Social last night.' She argued that his comments reflect an inability to 'put together a coherent thought' and accused him of prioritising wealth and legacy over morality.

'You belong to the Epstein class. That is your legacy,' Owens said, adding that when people see his name on buildings, they will associate it with 'how many children had to die or be raped by men on islands so that you could stick the Trump name upon the building'. She concluded: 'You chose money above respect, and what an absolute shame.'

Alex Jones also responded, saying he feels sorry for Trump and praying that 'God touch his heart and soul and free him from the demonic influences that he’s under'. Jones criticised Trump's foreign policy stance, stating: 'When Trump’s calling for wiping out whole civilizations and acting like a super villain, I have to come out and say I don't support it.'
