Maya Jama and Ruben Dias Share Valentine's Day Celebrations

Television presenter Maya Jama has offered fans an intimate look into her Valentine's Day celebrations with boyfriend Ruben Dias, following her return to the United Kingdom for a romantic weekend together. The 31-year-old Love Island host, currently filming the All Stars edition in South Africa, made a special trip back to England to enjoy quality time with the 28-year-old Manchester City footballer.

Romantic Reunion in Alderley Edge

The couple were spotted enjoying a leisurely lunch together in the affluent village of Alderley Edge on Sunday morning, following a romantic date night on Saturday. Maya showcased her signature effortless style, wearing a camel coat with a distinctive statement collar, complemented by heeled boots and fashionable black sunglasses. She beamed a radiant smile at her boyfriend as they approached the restaurant.

Ruben Dias looked equally stylish in a black leather jacket layered over a graphic T-shirt, completing his casual ensemble with a green baseball cap that partially concealed his face. The pair appeared relaxed and happy as they spent their first Valentine's Day together as a confirmed couple.

Lavish Gifts and Artistic Endeavors

Maya Jama documented their celebrations extensively on her Instagram account, beginning with the generous gifts she received from the Premier League star. She first revealed an enormous bouquet of classic red roses that Ruben had surprised her with, before showing off an additional luxury present from the prestigious fashion house Chanel.

The couple later ventured out for dinner at a unique restaurant that encourages patrons to draw at their tables. They enthusiastically put their artistic skills to the test by attempting to sketch portraits of each other. Maya shared the humorous results on social media, posting her own drawing with the caption: 'We went to a restaurant that lets you draw at the table, the wine had me feeling like Picasso because I thought this was 10/10 last night.'

She followed this with a glimpse of Ruben concentrating on his artistic creation, labeling him 'Picasso number 2' before sharing his less-than-flattering depiction of her accompanied by multiple crying-laughing emojis. The lighthearted exchange demonstrated the playful dynamic between the two celebrities.

Relationship Milestones and Personal Revelations

Maya Jama and Ruben Dias have been dating since 2024, but only publicly confirmed their romance in April of last year. Their relationship appears to be flourishing, with Maya recently making a candid admission about her living situation during an Instagram Stories session.

'There is something about me abroad compared to me in England and she's a better human,' the presenter confessed. 'I think everyone is but also love a little stroll, I love a bike ride. England, shook to ride a bike, to walk around for too long on my own.'

She elaborated on her preference for warmer climates, noting: 'All the signs are leading to she needs to live in a warm country. If you think about it, technically my jobs are all abroad anyway.' Most revealingly, Maya added: 'I'm not gna leave yet really but I am only in England for my man at this point.'

Her affection for Ruben was further evident when she later shared a photograph wearing a Manchester City away jersey featuring his playing number, three, indicating how much she misses him while working overseas.

Burglary at Their Cheshire Mansion

The couple's romantic weekend followed distressing news about their shared residence. Last month, their lavish new Cheshire mansion was burgled while Maya was away filming in South Africa. Cheshire Police confirmed to the Daily Mail that possessions had been stolen and that enquiries into the robbery remain ongoing.

According to reports, thieves made off with thousands of pounds worth of items including designer clothing, valuable jewellery, and electronic devices. The couple had only recently moved into the Omaze prize-draw mansion, which reportedly costs approximately £20,000 per month to rent.

Ruben Dias reportedly discovered the burglary upon returning home, finding the house turned upside down with numerous valuable items missing. A source close to the couple revealed: 'They are devastated. The house is the first they have moved into as a couple and is very special to them. Thankfully, neither was at home, but they are very upset that their personal space has been invaded.'

The insider added to The Sun: 'Maya was very proud to move into her first home with Ruben and took lots of videos and pictures while in the house which she posted on her social media. Previously in their relationship, she was back and forth from London and he was living in a city centre flat. That’s why this property means so much to them.'

Cheshire Police issued an official statement regarding the incident: 'Shortly after 11.10pm on Wednesday 28 January, police received reports of a burglary at an address in Woodbrook Road, Alderley Edge. Officers attended and found entry had been made to the property and a number of items had been stolen. Enquiries are currently ongoing and anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or through the website.'

Despite this unsettling security breach, Maya Jama and Ruben Dias focused on celebrating their relationship during Valentine's weekend, demonstrating their commitment to each other through romantic gestures and shared laughter.
