Jack Fincham's Descent: Love Island Winner Reveals He's Broke, Addicted, and Can't Afford Rehab
Love Island's Jack Fincham broke, battling addiction

Former Love Island winner Jack Fincham has delivered a shocking and candid account of his life since winning the reality show, revealing a devastating spiral into addiction that has left him financially ruined and unable to afford the help he desperately needs.

From Reality TV Riches to Rock Bottom

Jack Fincham, who triumphed on Love Island in 2018 alongside then-girlfriend Dani Dyer, has confessed he is now battling severe addiction issues with just £20 to his name. The 33-year-old told The Sun that the millions he earned from his TV fame have completely dwindled away, leaving him broke and in a perilous state.

Fincham explained that after a period of being clean and sober, he attempted to have a single drink in December, believing he had "won the battle". This decision, however, triggered a catastrophic relapse. "Since then I have spiralled," he admitted. "I have done drugs, I have done laughing gas." The night out saw him "up on the bar dancing" before descending into tequila shots, a night he barely remembers but which ended with him being photographed kissing Married at First Sight UK star Leisha.

A Cry for Help Without the Means to Pay

The reality star, who has been in an on-off relationship with TOWIE's Chloe Brockett since 2019, stated he is now "mortified" by his actions and recognises his urgent need for professional rehabilitation. The stark reality, however, is that he cannot afford it. "I need rehab but I only have £20 to my name, and nothing in the bank," Fincham revealed.

His struggles are not new. Fincham's problems began to surface publicly in 2019 when a "cocaine binge" led to an ultimatum from Dani Dyer. He confessed at the time to making a "terrible, terrible error" after being offered the drug frequently in his new celebrity circles. Since then, his life has been marred by further incidents, including a conviction for driving under the influence of drugs in March 2024, which resulted in a driving ban until October 2029 and 250 hours of community service.

Further troubles have involved his pet dog. In March 2025, he successfully appealed a six-week prison sentence after his cane corso dog bit a runner in September 2022. However, a second incident in June 2024 led to him being charged again. He was ordered to pay a total of £3,680, with his defence lawyer stating Fincham "has no savings".

Seeking a New Path Amidst Envy and Regret

Expressing deep regret, Fincham said, "I feel like an idiot. I am a 33-year-old man. I should be settled down, married." He also confessed to feeling jealous watching new contestants enter the Love Island villa, acknowledging it's a "dreadful" thing to think but a reflection of his desire to be "successful on TV" again.

For now, in a bid to regain routine and control, Fincham is starting a new job as an engineer. This move represents a stark contrast to his former life in the spotlight, a life that promised fortune but ultimately led to a very public and painful downfall. His story serves as a sobering reminder of the pressures and pitfalls that can follow instant fame and fortune.
