Love Island's Anton Danyluk criticised for Ricky Hatton tribute post promoting business

Love Island star Anton Danyluk has faced backlash after using a tribute to late boxing legend Ricky Hatton to promote his personal training business. The 30-year-old, who appeared on series five and the All Stars edition of the ITV2 show, shared a now-deleted Instagram post that included a photo with the text 'Ricky Hatton's death hit me hard. Life isn't always what it seems.'

In the post, Danyluk wrote: 'Ricky’s passing really reminded me why I started this. Too many of us feel like we’re struggling on our own - but you don’t have to. That’s why I built my free community.' He then listed benefits of joining his coaching platform, including 'a supportive space', 'daily tasks', 'free guides', 'weekly prizes', 'a weekly community call', and 'exclusive discounts on my coaching packages'.

Fans were quick to criticise the post, accusing Danyluk of exploiting Hatton's death for self-promotion. One commented: 'This is soooooo sad using his death to promote, have a word with yourself and have some respect...' Another wrote: 'Shocking using someone’s death too promote your business.' A third follower expressed disappointment, saying: 'Using someone's death to promote business is not it bro. I was a fan of yours for sure... but now I'm starting to see their side sadly.'
