Despite their shared history, the two women were not photographed together at the event. An insider has confirmed to the Daily Mail that this was a conscious choice, not a sign of any rift. The source stated there is 'no drama' and that Lopez, 56, and Garner, 53, are 'friendly with each other.'
'They get along, they are cool with each other, there are no issues,' the source explained. 'They don't want to drum up headlines by posing together at an awards show, that would be awkward. They don't want to create a fuss because it would be hard for the kids.'
Modern Family Dynamics
The connection between the two households is strong, primarily through their children. Garner shares three children – Violet, Seraphina (who goes by Finn), and Samuel – with ex-husband Ben Affleck. Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, with her former spouse Marc Anthony.
The insider revealed that Lopez's daughter Emme and Garner's daughter Seraphina are particularly close, leading to frequent contact between the mothers. 'I am pretty sure they see each other like once a week because of the kids, and they talk on the phone,' the source said, describing the arrangement as a form of co-parenting that continues despite Lopez's divorce from Affleck.
Lopez has also been seen spending time with Affleck and Garner's other children, Samuel and Violet. 'They are like one big Modern Family, which is nice,' the insider added. 'They have all been in solid therapy and understand the importance of getting along for the sake of the kids.'

For Jennifer Lopez, it was her first major awards show since her divorce from Affleck was finalised. She wore a sheer vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer gown, which she purchased herself. She last attended the Golden Globes in 2024 with Affleck.
On the night, Garner presented an award first, followed later by Lopez. Both have historically been discreet about each other in interviews. Garner recently told Marie Claire UK she avoids gossip, while Lopez praised Garner as 'an amazing co-parent' in a 2022 Vogue interview.
