Lucien Laviscount Debuts New Look at Milan Fashion Week as Gallagher Clan Supports Gene's Band
Laviscount's New Moustache & Gallagher Family Spotlight at Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week provided a stylish backdrop for a celebrity style switch-up and a reminder of Manchester's rock 'n' roll dynasty this weekend. Actor Lucien Laviscount, famed for his role in Emily In Paris, surprised fans by debuting a dapper new facial hair style.

Star Style on the Milanese Catwalks

On Saturday, the 33-year-old actor arrived at the prestigious Dolce & Gabbana show looking notably different. Laviscount, who typically sports a rugged beard, opted for a clean-shaven look complemented by a smart new moustache. He paired the look with an oversized blue jumper, left open to bare his chest, and a sophisticated grey coat.

He was not the only star turning heads at the event. American singer Benson Boone, 23, attended the same show, dressed in high-waisted denim jeans and a simple white T-shirt. Just across the street, at Paul Smith's trendy runway presentation, Lennon Gallagher made a colourful appearance. The 26-year-old son of Oasis icon Liam Gallagher posed confidently in a striking multi-coloured leather jacket.

The Next Generation of Gallagher Rock

While Lennon was in Milan, the focus of the Gallagher family recently shifted to London and the musical endeavours of his younger brother, Gene. Gene Gallagher, who Liam shares with ex-partner Nicole Appleton, is the frontman of the emerging indie rock band Villanelle. The four-piece, consisting of Gene on vocals and guitar, Ben Taylor on guitar, Jack Schiavo on bass, and Andrew Richmond on drums, released their debut single Hinge in September.

The band performed an intimate show at The Lexington on Pentonville Road in London, entertaining a full house. Gene described Hinge as a song "about paranoia derived from sleepless nights", quipping, "I was probably hungover when I wrote it." Bassist Jack Schiavo told NME the band's sound sits at a crossroads of grunge, shoegaze, punk, and alternative rock, blending influences from Black Sabbath and Nirvana to Arctic Monkeys.

Family Support in the Crowd

Although father Liam was not present, Gene received strong familial support. His older brother Lennon, fresh from Milan Fashion Week, shared a clip from the gig with the heartfelt message: 'My heart bleeds for you, I'm so so so proud of you.' Also in attendance were Gene's rarely seen cousins, Sonny and Anaïs Gallagher—the children of Liam's brother and former Oasis bandmate, Noel Gallagher.

Fifteen-year-old Sonny, who joined Instagram in October, posted footage from his vantage point near the stage. His sister Anaïs, 25, shared her own video, proudly writing: 'This is my cousin and he’s a legend.' This show of unity highlights the close bonds within the famous rock family, even as the next generation carves its own path.

The band's rise is gaining momentum; they were fortunate enough to support Liam Gallagher on his 2024 solo tour, a significant boost for any new act. Gene has previously spoken about his unconventional path to music, having once ditched his guitar for six months of partying while following Oasis on tour—a rite of passage seemingly befitting a Gallagher heir.
