Lana Del Rey and Husband Jeremy Dufrene Enjoy Casual Los Angeles Outing
Lana Del Rey was photographed alongside her husband Jeremy Dufrene during a relaxed day out in Los Angeles. The 40-year-old singer-songwriter and her 51-year-old gator tour guide spouse were spotted exiting the celebrity-frequented hotspot, The Ivy restaurant, on Friday.
Stylish Yet Casual Attire
For their outing, Del Rey opted for a casual-chic ensemble that perfectly captured her signature aesthetic. She wore a striped boatneck top layered underneath a cream off-the-shoulder sweatshirt. The look was completed with distressed denim shorts and canvas ballet slippers instead of traditional shoes.
The West Coast hitmaker appeared to be wearing minimal makeup and had her dark brunette hair styled in a claw clip updo. She carried a large leather purse while her husband followed closely behind, sporting a white T-shirt paired with khaki pants and a black baseball hat. Dufrene was seen carrying a shopping bag containing a large box.
Recent Social Media Glimpses into Their Marriage
The couple, who married in September 2024, have recently shared intimate moments from their relationship on social media. In late March, the 11-time Grammy nominee (born Elizabeth Grant) posted a photo series on Instagram to celebrate her swamp guide husband's 51st birthday.
The tribute included several revealing glimpses into their life together:
- A cute selfie of the couple by the ocean where Del Rey showed her natural beauty without makeup
- A video of Dufrene loading plants into their truck after a Home Depot shopping trip
- A snap of Del Rey's hand gripping her husband's wrist, prominently displaying her massive engagement ring
- Another photo showing Del Rey wearing one of Dufrene's tour guide shirts with his name embroidered above the pocket
Keeping a Relatively Low Profile
Despite their celebrity status, the couple has maintained a relatively low profile since their wedding day. Their most notable public appearance occurred last month at the pre-New York Fashion Week Ralph Lauren show on February 10, where they shared a romantic kiss on the red carpet.
Del Rey also recently posted a video that appeared to offer glimpses into her married life, opening with footage from the 1933 Betty Boop cartoon Snow-White before cutting to shaky handheld footage of herself dancing with an ecstatic smile.
The Story of Their Relationship
The couple first met in 2019 during one of Dufrene's swamp excursions and reconnected years later before tying the knot. In an August interview with W magazine, Del Rey revealed how she fell for her Louisiana bayou tour guide husband.
"Like many people who work with large, dangerous beasts, Jeremy has a calm, strong presence," Del Rey explained. "When we met, I realized pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table."
Dufrene reportedly reassured her from the beginning with his characteristic straightforwardness: "I work with alligators — I have tough skin." According to Del Rey, he has lived up to this promise, listening patiently through all her dramas and responding with unconditional support: "All the things that made me upset — and there were so many! — he would just listen and say, 'You be you — and I'll just love you more.'"
