Kristen Stewart's LA stroll with wife Dylan Meyer ahead of film awards
Kristen Stewart walks dog with wife Dylan Meyer in Los Feliz

Kristen Stewart and her wife, Dylan Meyer, were spotted enjoying a relaxed afternoon with their dog this week, showcasing their low-key married life in Los Angeles. The couple, who tied the knot earlier this year, took their canine companion, Cole, for a walk not far from Stewart's $2.195 million Los Feliz home.

A Casual Outing in LA

The 35-year-old Oscar nominee and Chanel ambassador opted for ultimate comfort during the Tuesday stroll. Stewart went braless under a simple grey t-shirt, pairing it with matching joggers and crisp white sneakers. Her hair was swept up in a top bun, revealing her partially shaved head. At one point, the actress was even seen playfully attempting a roundhouse kick while on the grass, illustrating the couple's easy-going dynamic.

Meyer, the 38-year-old partner and fellow creative, matched the casual vibe. The newlyweds, who married on April 20 at the Casita Del Campo restaurant after six years of dating, have also expanded their family by adopting two cats.

Stewart on Family and Creative Ventures

In a recent interview with Esquire on December 9, Stewart reflected on the profound impact of her relationship. "Power in numbers. It's so nice to have a family. It's so nice to not be an unmoored individual," she shared. The actress praised Meyer's influence, stating, "Dylan came into my life and I immediately was like, 'It's so important to handpick and curate the people that surround you.'" She added that being with Meyer is "bolstering" and a reminder that her life is in her own hands.

The pair's partnership extends beyond their personal life into business. In 2023, Stewart and Meyer, who is the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer, co-founded the production company Nevermind Pictures with Maggie Mclean.

Critical Acclaim and Upcoming Projects

Professionally, Stewart is riding a wave of success with her feature directorial debut, 'The Chronology of Water'. The film, an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch's 2011 memoir, boasts a 'certified fresh' 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 47 reviews. The 128-minute drama, starring Imogen Poots, Thora Birch, Jim Belushi, and Tom Sturridge, is set for release in US theatres on January 9.

Stewart will host two screenings of the film with Poots at New York's Angelika Film Center on January 6. Furthermore, the project is in the running for two trophies – best indie feature and best first feature – at the 9th Astra Film Awards, airing January 9.

Looking ahead, Stewart's slate is packed. She will star in Meyer's directorial debut, 'The Wrong Girls', for Neon, and has confirmed that the Amazon MGM limited series 'The Challenger', where she will portray astronaut Sally Ride, has been greenlit. Other projects include roles in Panos Cosmatos's 'Flesh of the Gods' and Quentin Dupieux's 'Full Phil'.
