Keith Urban's Friends Fear He's 'Completely Lost' After Nicole Kidman Divorce
Keith Urban 'Lost' and Alone Post-Kidman Divorce, Friends Worry

Friends of country music star Keith Urban are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing in the aftermath of his high-profile divorce from actress Nicole Kidman, according to a new report.

A Lonely Festive Season for Keith Urban

The 58-year-old singer is said to have spent the recent Christmas period alone and, in a particularly painful development, missed his daughter Faith Margaret's 15th birthday party in late December. An alleged source told New Idea magazine that pals fear Urban is "completely lost without his family."

"Missing Faith's birthday was like a gut punch to Keith," the insider claimed this week. The publication further reported that Urban has a "revolving door of mates" checking in on him as he navigates life after his nearly two-decade marriage.

Nicole Kidman's Australian Homecoming

In stark contrast, Nicole Kidman has been embracing the festive season in her native Australia. The 58-year-old Babygirl actress recently returned to Sydney, marking her first Christmas since the couple's separation was confirmed in September.

She was pictured beaming while carrying an elaborately decorated cake for daughter Faith's 15th birthday, adorned with the words "Happy 15th birthday baby!". A source told People magazine that being back in Australia for the holidays was "all she wanted after a tumultuous fall."

"She just wanted to celebrate Christmas at home. She's very excited," they added. The insider noted that Kidman is feeling "very blessed" and has been "super positive and focused on things that she's grateful for" despite the end of her 20-year marriage.

Reality Sinks In for the Country Star

As the initial phase of the split passes, reports suggest the reality of the situation is beginning to hit Keith Urban hard. A separate source told Woman's Day that the musician is allegedly "wondering if he's made a huge mistake."

"Keith doesn't know where home is any more," the New Idea source elaborated. "He's focusing on work and that keeps him in Nashville, but this is a guy who was born in New Zealand, grew up in Australia and raised a family in the USA. He's lost any navigational device."

The source painted a picture of a difficult adjustment, stating, "It's a lonely existence for Keith right now - he's exhausted, isolated and looking at a future he never imagined." They added pointedly, "He's also lost his best friend, Nicole, who was also his greatest supporter in life."

Financial realities are also reportedly a factor, with the source noting, "He's got to pay the bills - and divorce lawyers don't come cheap," in reference to the couple's ongoing settlement.
