Katie Price has fuelled intense speculation about the status of her relationship with JJ Slater after breaking her silence in a revealing New Year's video that conspicuously omitted any mention of him.
Cryptic New Year's Message Fuels Speculation
The 47-year-old television personality posted an 18-minute video to her YouTube channel, outlining her goals and focus for the year 2026. While detailing the important areas of her life, the reality star did not reference her relationship with the Married At First Sight star at any point during her future plans.
The video, which appears to have been filmed partly before New Year's Eve, does feature JJ Slater briefly in the background. He is seen looking at his phone and, in another segment, helping Katie's son Harvey into a car while on the Isle of Wight. However, the footage is believed to predate their reported breakup.
Price Hints at Private 'Hiccups' in 2025
In a particularly telling segment towards the end of the clip, Katie spoke directly to the camera about her thoughts for the new year. She hinted at facing private difficulties in the past year, stating, "2025, privately, there's been some hiccups, workwise it's been fantastic."
She adopted a philosophical tone, adding, "I am the best version I could ever be. And if there's anyone who has started the New Year not so positive, still a bit down, just remember I'm a survivor, you can be a survivor. The only way is up when you hit rock bottom."
Future Plans Focus on Career and Family, Not Romance
When explicitly asked about her plans for 2026, Katie listed a series of professional and personal ambitions that notably excluded her romantic life. Her stated goals included a music tour, a podcast tour, another tour with friend Kerry, various television projects, horse riding, fitness, and even a potential hair colour change.
She also used a pie chart analogy to describe how she wants to balance her life, emphasising equal parts work, holidays, self-care, family, and hobbies. "That's what's important to me because you never know when it's your last day," she remarked.
The video follows a report from a source to The Mirror, which claimed the split had been "on the cards for a long time." The source suggested that Katie's desire for marriage, security, and another baby had put pressure on JJ, who ultimately "wasn’t up for all the drama that comes with being with Katie Price."
With her cryptic comments and focused plans for a future that doesn't include JJ Slater, Katie Price has left little doubt that the couple have gone their separate ways, turning the page on a chapter of her very public personal life.
