Katie Price Warns Young Women Against 'Damaging' Plastic Surgery

Katie Price has cautioned young women against undergoing cosmetic procedures in their early 20s, describing the trend as 'damaging' and warning that many end up looking like 'aliens'. The 45-year-old model and TV personality, who has had multiple surgeries herself, insisted she is 'not a hypocrite' but wants to educate people about the risks.

Speaking on the podcast How To Fail With Elizabeth Day, Price said she did not start having work done on her face until her 40s and only had Botox at 27 or 28. She recalled trying lip fillers when the technique was still developing, which left her looking 'like a duck'. Price questioned what younger women who get fillers and boob jobs now will look like when they reach her age.

Price, who has five children, said the painful recovery process from her surgeries has 'put them off for life'. She emphasised that people only see the 'before and after' images, not the pain, cleaning, stitches, and bed rest involved. 'It's damaging to your body. I've had so many anaesthetics,' she added.

The star, who was declared bankrupt for a second time earlier this month, also revealed she has been diagnosed with severe ADHD, which she believes explains some of her poor choices. She said she is 'innocent and gullible' but cannot help speaking or acting impulsively due to the condition.

Price has been open about her personal life in recent years, including documentaries about her disabled son Harvey, who has autism and Prader-Willi syndrome. She now earns income from OnlyFans and has faced legal issues for driving offences.
