Kate Dwyer, the former wife of television presenter Jeff Brazier, has hinted she may be ready to date again, just over two months after the couple publicly announced the end of their marriage.
A Cryptic Social Media Hint
On Tuesday, the 35-year-old public relations executive shared a veiled message to her Instagram followers that pointed towards a new philosophy on romance. The post read: 'Date a dog girl. You don’t have to worry about them cheating cause all they do is work, train their dogs, blow all their money on their dogs and pass out early af.'
Dwyer evidently agreed with the sentiment, commenting simply 'Truth' on the post. This has been widely interpreted as a signal that she is moving on from her separation and is potentially open to meeting someone new.
Brazier's Reflective Response
Meanwhile, Jeff Brazier, who currently works as a part-time presenter on ITV's This Morning, shared his own contemplative message while working on location. Alongside a photo of a scenic coastline, he wrote about the adjustment to single life.
'When you go from a relationship to single you have to get comfortable standing alone in that space was once shared,' he posted. 'I find it helpful to remind often that "I am enough."' He also posted pictures with his production team, noting he got to spend more time with them.
The End of a Seven-Year Marriage
Jeff Brazier confirmed the separation publicly in November 2023, though he revealed the couple had actually parted ways privately in the summer. He stated they had 'given everything and more' but ultimately realised they 'couldn't make it work.'
In a heartfelt Instagram statement at the time, Brazier expressed his love and gratitude for Dwyer, praising her as 'a successful career woman who cared unconditionally.' He reflected on their 12-year relationship, calling it a 'safe space' for both during busy and complex times.
The pair married in September 2018 after a decade together. They had previously separated in 2022 before reconciling. Brazier is a father to two sons, Freddy and Bobby, from his previous relationship with the late Jade Goody, who died from cervical cancer in 2009.
Both individuals now appear to be navigating their new lives separately, with Dwyer's latest post suggesting the first steps towards a new chapter.
