Karren Brady Celebrates Family Day While Addressing Weight Loss Speculation

Baroness Karren Brady displayed her newly slimmed-down figure during a joyful family outing to Chessington World of Adventures on Friday. The 57-year-old businesswoman shared heartwarming Instagram snaps with her husband Paul Peschisolido, 54, daughter Sophia, and grandchildren Leo and George, marking Leo's second birthday celebration.

In the photos, Karren beamed while wearing a stylish brown wool coat, captioning the post: 'We celebrated gorgeous Leo’s 2nd birthday at Chessington World of Adventures. He loved every single minute – especially the Gruffalo River Ride, while George took it all in from his pram. Paul and I are very lucky to have special family days like these.'

Denying Weight Loss Medication Rumours

The family outing comes amid ongoing speculation about Karren Brady's weight loss transformation. She has firmly denied using medications like Ozempic, insisting her results come from traditional methods. 'I'm not on Ozempic, but questions about women's weight come up far more often than they should,' she told The Sun. 'I'd much prefer the conversation to be focused around my work.'

Karren expressed frustration with the public scrutiny, stating: 'People think they know something they don't know, or they just presume. And so what if I was? And what if I wasn't? It would be my choice. I think the way people talk about women's bodies is certainly an effort to belittle them or make them feel insecure.'

Health and Fitness Routine Revealed

The West Ham United vice chairman attributes her weight loss to becoming a grandmother, which motivated her to pursue a healthier lifestyle. 'I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit, healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising,' she explained. 'I haven't joined [the Ozempic Club] - bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off.'

Karren maintains a rigorous fitness regimen despite her demanding schedule: 'I go three or four times a week. I never have set days, because I've got a full-time job, then I have to go to the House of Lords often to vote, so I fit it in where I can.' Her routine includes cardiovascular exercises, weight training, and occasional swimming sessions.

She also revealed that Lord Sugar has become something of a health inspiration: 'He is great, he is very fit. He and my husband cycle when we go away on holiday. He is super fit himself, so if anyone is giving tips, it is him to me.'

Apprentice Drama Unfolds

Meanwhile, on The Apprentice, candidate Kieran McCartney dramatically quit the show after back-to-back task failures. The 27-year-old estate agent had made a 'win or walk' agreement with Lord Sugar following a previous loss, promising to leave if he failed as project manager again.

When his pet lifestyle brand challenge ended unsuccessfully, Kieran honored his pact: 'It was win or walk. I'm not a beg. I'm not going to beg for my place, a deal's a deal and Lord Sugar hasn't seen the last of me.' His teammate Rothna Akhtar, who confessed to a fear of animals, was also fired from the process.

Reflecting on her exit, Rothna said: 'It was disappointing in that immediate moment, but it wasn't a complete shock because I was standing against Dan, who I knew had a really good business. I was in shock because I was so close to the final five.'

The Apprentice continues to air on Thursdays on BBC One and is available for streaming on iPlayer, while Karren Brady continues to balance her public life with family commitments and personal health goals.
