Celerity Trainer Jono Castano Posts Clear Drug Test Results on Instagram
Fitness trainer and ACERO gym owner Jono Castano has openly admitted to making 'bad decisions' in his past while sharing the results of a comprehensive drug test on his Instagram account. The 35-year-old uploaded a screenshot showing a negative result for multiple substances, including cocaine and MDMA, accompanied by a lengthy and heartfelt caption reflecting on his recent journey of personal transformation.
A Post for Accountability, Not Sympathy
In his social media post, shared just three days after his birthday, Castano emphasised that his intention was not to seek sympathy but to demonstrate accountability. He reflected candidly on how life can rapidly spiral out of control under pressure. 'Pressure, stress, bad decisions… and before you know it, you're doing things that don't align with the person you actually want to be,' he wrote, urging his followers to take proactive control of their own lives.
Castano issued a direct message to anyone feeling trapped: 'No one is coming to save you. You either make the decision to change, or you stay stuck.' He revealed that over the past five months, he has been diligently rebuilding his life through a strict regimen focused on discipline, structure, consistent training, and cultivating a clear mind.
Motivation Rooted in Family and Responsibility
The trainer explained that his progress is driven not only by personal ambition but also by a deep sense of responsibility. He is motivated by his nearly two-year-old daughter, Gia, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Simone Holtznagel, as well as his wider family and those who look to him for guidance and inspiration.
He concluded his post with an empowering note for his audience: 'You're not weak. You're just one decision away from changing everything. Start today. Take control. Your future self will thank you.' The post garnered significant support from followers, including a supportive comment from his ex-wife, Amy Castano, who wrote, 'I always knew you could. Just needed to do it in your own time.' Amy's new boyfriend, Aaron Evans, responded with several heart emojis.
Ongoing Co-Parenting Dispute with Simone Holtznagel
This Instagram revelation comes amidst a highly publicised and ongoing dispute between Castano and Holtznagel concerning their co-parenting arrangement and child support payments. The conflict escalated last month when Holtznagel posted a video on her Instagram Stories, dancing with their toddler while making an obscene gesture.
She captioned the video, criticising Castano for arriving late to a supervised visit and alleging he had only recently begun paying more than $40 per week in child support. Holtznagel also made claims about his driving licence and mocked comments regarding her appearance.
Castano swiftly responded with a rebuttal video, labelling her post as full of 'lies' and sharing screenshots of bank transfers showing payments totalling almost $8,500 to Holtznagel since December. However, he acknowledged that prior to late last year, payments were significantly lower, around $45 per week, citing an inability to agree on a support amount and describing Holtznagel's initial request as 'insane'.
The pair, who split in late May 2024 just nine weeks after their daughter's birth, continue to navigate a complex and public co-parenting relationship, with Castano's latest post marking a pointed effort to highlight his personal growth and accountability amid the controversy.
