Former Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater has publicly embarked on a new fitness regime, sharing his initial weight loss success just weeks after his split from glamour model Katie Price.
A New Focus After the Breakup
The 31-year-old reality TV personality confirmed his separation from Price, 45, earlier this month, ending a nearly two-year relationship. A source told the Daily Mail that the split occurred after Price concluded JJ was not 'husband material' and that the relationship would not lead to a fourth walk down the aisle for her.
In the wake of the breakup, JJ has turned his attention to his health and physique. He took to his Instagram Stories to update followers, revealing he has already lost 2.8 kilograms (approximately six pounds) in just ten days.
How the Online Coach is Driving Results
Slater credited his rapid progress to working with an online coach named Kieran from Konditioning Coaching. 'I've never had one before but I thought that I'd give it a go,' he explained in a video post.
He detailed the coach's comprehensive approach, which includes managing his nutrition, planning his workouts, and ensuring he hits daily step and cardio targets. 'He holds me accountable,' JJ said. 'And if I'm not doing it he'll call me up and be like "J what are you doing."'
JJ expressed his enthusiasm for the journey ahead, telling his followers he hopes to bring them along and that sharing his experience might help others considering an online coach.
Looking Back on the Relationship
JJ Slater and Katie Price began dating in February 2024, shortly after JJ found fame on E4's Married At First Sight UK. During their time together, Price even spoke of her desire to have a sixth child with him.
JJ was reportedly a supportive figure for Katie through several recent health scares, which have seen fans express concern over her increasingly thin appearance and ongoing cosmetic surgery procedures.
