Jett Kenny's McDonald's McCrispy Order Goes Hilariously Wrong
Jett Kenny's McDonald's Burger Missing Key Ingredient

Australian TV personality and lifeguard Jett Kenny experienced a fast-food fail this week that left him both disappointed and decidedly peckish. The 31-year-old took to social media to share a culinary mishap from a popular McDonald's outlet.

A McCrispy Catastrophe

On Monday night, Jett Kenny used his Instagram Story to document what he called a "less-than-stellar" trip to the global fast-food chain. He filmed himself opening a box containing his simple order: a McCrispy burger with an added rasher of bacon.

Upon lifting the bun, however, he was met with a baffling sight. The central component of the meal was conspicuously absent. "They just decided to remove the chicken and I have a bacon and lettuce burger," a crestfallen Kenny explained to his followers. He sarcastically added, "Good job, McDonald's."

It appears the kitchen staff attempted to compensate for the missing chicken fillet with an excessively generous helping of mayonnaise, enough for two burgers. The result was a sparse, lettuce-heavy sandwich that failed to satisfy his appetite.

Celebration Amidst Fast-Food Frustration

This amusing incident comes several months after a much happier milestone in Kenny's life. Back in September, he announced his engagement to model and influencer Lily Brown. The couple made a low-key announcement on Instagram, sharing a romantic image from a dinner date in Italy where Lily showed off her diamond engagement ring.

Lily captioned the post, 'Now THAT'S Amore,' accompanied by a string of ring emojis. The pair had been enjoying a romantic Italian getaway when the proposal happened.

Family and Friends React to the News

Jett's mother, former Olympic swimmer Lisa Curry, was quick to express her joy. She wrote a moving comment on the engagement post, stating, "Ohhhh my boy and the love of his life. I am beyond blessed and excited for your future together Jett and Lily. I love you both so much."

She later shared her own Instagram post, declaring, "Ohhhhhh…. My boy and the love of his life, his beautiful Lily, are ENGAGED. I am sooooo happy."

Celebrity friends also offered congratulations, with Tammy Hembrow and Em Davies sending their love and best wishes to the couple. Jett and Lily first made their relationship public in December 2022, sharing a kiss on New Year's Eve to ring in the new year together.

While his recent McDonald's experience may have been a letdown, it's clear Jett Kenny's personal life is serving up much more satisfying fare, with wedding plans now undoubtedly on the menu.
