The stars of ITV's I'm A Celebrity 2025 have made their dramatic first appearance on Australian shores, bonding immediately after a heart-stopping parachute stunt that kicked off the show's milestone 25th series.
Daredevil Arrival on the Beach
In exclusive scenes captured for the upcoming series, celebrities including Kelly Brook, Shona McGarty, Eddie Kadi, Martin Kemp and rapper Aitch were seen laughing and joking together on the beach moments after their daring parachute landing. The group appeared in high spirits despite the adrenaline-fuelled entrance that saw them touch down on the golden sands.
Hosts Ant and Dec watched the unfolding scenes from an elevated position atop what appeared to be a castle structure, overseeing the celebrities' first interactions in their new jungle home.
A show source revealed: "They all seemed to be getting on really well with each other despite presumably having only just met. They are clearly all bonding very quickly this year."
Emotional Airport Goodbyes
The celebrities only arrived in Australia in recent days, with several speaking to The Mirror as they landed at Brisbane Airport ahead of the show's launch this Sunday.
Martin Kemp confessed he would miss his family during his jungle stint, telling reporters: "What am I going to miss… my family, but it's going to be an adventure. I don't want to take things too seriously and just enjoy it." The singer follows in his son Roman's footsteps, who previously appeared on the show.
Former footballer Alex Scott shared emotional thoughts about being separated from girlfriend Jess Glynne, revealing: "I already miss her, this will be the longest we've been apart since we've been together. We are certainly not used to it, it's going to be hard."
Comedian Eddie Kadi also expressed he would miss his eight-year-old daughter during his time in the jungle.
Milestone 25th Series Promises Excitement
Not all celebrities were present during the beach scenes, with Alex Scott, Lisa Riley, Ginge, Jack Osbourne and Ruby Wax notably absent from the initial parachute stunt and bonding session.
As Ant and Dec return to host the hit reality series for its quarter-century celebration, producers are pulling out all the stops to ensure this year's edition stands out. A source close to the show confirmed: "Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet."
The carefully orchestrated parachute landing sets the tone for what promises to be an action-packed series filled with drama, camaraderie and the challenging trials that have made I'm A Celebrity a British television institution for 25 years.
