Real Housewives Star's Twin Sons Stranded in Dubai as Deadly Air Strikes Escalate

Caroline Stanbury, the prominent star of Real Housewives of Dubai and Ladies of London, has publicly expressed her desperation to reunite with her 16-year-old twin sons, who are currently trapped in Dubai amid a series of terrifying air strikes. The 49-year-old Bravo personality is currently stranded in Los Angeles, unable to travel due to severe security risks and flight disruptions in the region.

Stanbury's Heartfelt Update on Sons' Safety

In a recent video shared on social media, Stanbury thanked her fans for their overwhelming support and provided a crucial update on her sons' well-being. "Thank you so much for all the amazing messages I am getting," she began. "I am currently in LA, which is not ideal because my sons are in Dubai. But they are safe and I feel very comfortable with where they are and they feel very comfortable. Obviously I would like to get back as soon as I can but that’s not possible right now."

She emphasised that her sons, Zack and Aaron, are "handling things amazingly" despite the chaotic situation. Stanbury also shares a daughter, Yasmine, who will turn 20 on March 7, with her ex-husband Cem Habib.

Dubai Plunged into Peril Amid Regional Conflict

The air strikes in Dubai erupted over the weekend after Israel and the United States waged war with Iran, leading to a dangerous escalation across the Middle East. Iran retaliated by firing ballistic missiles and drones at US assets and allies, targeting multiple countries including Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where Dubai is located.

This conflict has transformed Dubai, once a mecca for the rich and famous, into a zone of significant peril. The current travel advice for Dubai strongly recommends avoiding all travel due to ongoing security risks and potential disruptions, leaving many celebrities and residents stranded or in hiding.

Other Celebrities Caught in the Crossfire

Stanbury is not alone in facing the dangers of the air strikes. Several other high-profile figures have been impacted by the violence:

  • Kate Ferdinand, former TOWIE star, revealed that she and her family were forced to sleep in their basement for protection, describing the experience as "very scary." She posted on Instagram, "We are hoping for a calmer evening tonight. Last night was very scary. Although Cree and Shae loved it as they couldn't believe we all got a sleepover in the basement."
  • Vicky Pattison, another reality star, warned against exaggerated reports of the situation. She insisted she was in "one of the safest countries in the world" and clarified, "I'm not an expert in geopolitical matters or international affairs but the narrative that Dubai is being 'bombed' feels like a hyperbolic one. Currently what we've been advised through government channels is that they're intercepting missiles competently and what is subsequently causing damage and, tragically, harm is falling debris."

Stanbury's Hopes for a Swift Return

Despite the grim circumstances, Stanbury remains hopeful and praised the UAE's handling of the crisis. "Everybody's ok and as I said, the boys are handling it amazingly," she continued. "We're all just waiting to see, but the UAE is obviously an amazing place and it seems from here to be incredibly under control and they're doing an amazing job, so that's all we can hope for. I will be back on the next plane I can back to the Dubai."

As the conflict continues to unfold, Stanbury and many others await a resolution that will allow safe travel and reunification with loved ones in Dubai.
