Holly Ramsay Defies Jetlag with Pilates After Lavish Mauritius Honeymoon
Holly Ramsay's Pilates Post-Honeymoon Jetlag Battle

Holly Ramsay demonstrated her commitment to fitness this week by brushing aside the effects of jetlag to attend a Pilates class, just after returning from an idyllic honeymoon in Mauritius. The 26-year-old influencer, daughter of renowned celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, had been enjoying a paradise escape with her new husband, Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty.

Post-Honeymoon Fitness Focus

Despite a gruelling 13-hour flight back from the Indian Ocean island, Ramsay made her way to a local reformer Pilates session on Tuesday. The class is specifically designed to enhance mobility, strength, and overall stability, aligning with her health-conscious lifestyle.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo showcasing her sculpted abs, captioning it with a humorous nod to her fatigue: 'My energy is limitless. Jetlag says otherwise.' This post highlights her dedication to maintaining her wellness routine even after long-haul travel.

A Dream Honeymoon at a Prestigious Resort

The couple's honeymoon took place at the exclusive One&Only Le Saint Géran, located on the east coast of Mauritius. This five-star hotel and spa complex is renowned for its luxury, with suites commanding prices of up to £6,000 per night. Set on a private peninsula, the resort has attracted a host of high-profile guests over the years, including Nelson Mandela, George and Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Guests at Le Saint Géran can arrive via helicopter, landing on a pad near the beach, or utilise a chauffeur-driven luxury car service. The estate features private villas nestled among palm trees, some reportedly selling for as much as $13.6 million (£10.1 million).

Delayed Departure and Parental Gift

Ramsay and Peaty's trip was slightly delayed due to Peaty's prior commitment to participate in the Swimming With The Stars competition in Romania. Once they arrived in Mauritius, the couple were seen enjoying the white sand beaches, with Peaty happily posing for selfies with locals. An onlooker noted, 'They looked very loved-up and relaxed. Adam was happy to stop and chat and seemed in great spirits.'

In an interview with British Vogue, Ramsay revealed that the honeymoon was a wedding gift from her parents, Gordon and Tana Ramsay, who are repeat visitors to the resort themselves. She remarked, 'We're going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea - that was our wedding present from my parents. I had to tell Adam we weren't basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…' This comment has been interpreted by some as a subtle reference to Peaty's absent parents.

The newlyweds exchanged vows at Bath Abbey in January before embarking on their 10-day escape, making the most of the luxurious amenities and serene surroundings offered by one of Mauritius's most prestigious destinations.
