Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has given her followers an intimate look at her pregnancy, sharing images of her growing baby bump just weeks after announcing she and her husband, NFL star Josh Allen, are expecting their first child.
A Personal Glimpse into Motherhood
The 29-year-old Oscar-nominated star, who married Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in May 2025, posted a series of personal photos to her Substack newsletter, 'Beau Society', on Friday. In the reflective post, she looked back on the past year and her outlook for 2026.
One poignant image featured Steinfeld's shadowy silhouette against a wall, clearly showing her pregnant profile. A picture of a red heart hung nearby above the words 'Mothers are underrated.' Another festive snapshot showed a tiny onesie, embroidered with 'Baby Beau', placed delicately on a Christmas tree.
Reflecting on a Landmark Year
Steinfeld's newsletter candidly explored the profound changes of the last twelve months. She wrote that 2025 'brought milestones, growth, and moments that have reshaped me in ways I'm still processing.' The 'True Grit' star described finding a new 'feeling of steadiness' and a 'sense that I'm standing exactly where I'm meant to be.'
She explained to readers that she has consciously embraced a slower pace in life, becoming more intentional about her choices. 'Over the past year, I've become more intentional about choosing what actually feels right,' she shared, adding that she is now asking questions that 'invite clarity over time.'
The collection also included other cherished moments from 2025, such as photos with her 'Sinners' castmates, outings with close friends, and romantic shots with Allen—including a black-and-white image from their wedding day.
A Journey to Parenthood
The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2023 before tying the knot in a romantic Santa Barbara ceremony in May 2025. Steinfeld was walked down the aisle by her father, Peter, at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, wearing a strapless white gown and veil.
Their pregnancy was first revealed in a sweet joint Instagram video in December 2025. The clip showed the pair standing in the snow, with Steinfeld unveiling her bump under a sweater bearing the word 'Mother'. Allen was seen gently kissing her stomach, and the video ended with the couple holding hands over a miniature snowman.
In a November interview with Bustle, prior to the announcement, Steinfeld gushed about her marriage, saying, 'I literally thank God every day that I found my person.' When asked about future children, she replied simply, 'Of course.'
Allen, for his part, has spoken warmly about married life, telling Fox Sports in August 2025 that having Steinfeld's support was 'an awesome feeling.' He added, 'I get to support somebody as much as she supports me. So, very happy, obviously.'
