GK Barry Reveals Hangover Cure and Ibiza Fountain Incident

Influencer GK Barry has disclosed the unconventional methods she uses to recover from a heavy night out, including submerging her head in ice-cold water and listening to a peculiar playlist. The internet personality has been enjoying the summer's World Cup Tournament, but the late evenings often leave her and many others nationwide waking up with a hangover.

Recovery Routine

Barry detailed her post-party recovery routine, which starts with a face-dunking ritual followed by listening to music containing frequencies allegedly designed to help her get through the day after a heavy night. She explained: "What I do is I'll wake up and start the day by lying to myself I'm fine. Then I'll put on eye patches and dip my head in an ice-cold bowl of water. Two paracetamol, two ibuprofen, and I'm ready to attack the day. The world is my oyster."

She added: "When I used to live in Nottingham, I'd have to get the train from Nottingham to London for work after a big night out. I'd have to listen to music on YouTube with frequencies that are supposed to help a sore head and hope it would help. And to be fair, on some of my darkest days, it did do something."

Ibiza Fountain Incident

Barry confessed she can sometimes take things too far when enjoying herself, saying: "I tend to think I'm more sober than I actually am – even when I am pretty loose." Recalling a memorable night out, she described how an Ibiza outing ended with the Baggs brothers and Max Balegde hauling her from a fountain. "I was in Ibiza and we went to this restaurant with lots of meats, cheeses and wine. Let's just say I went a bit too heavy on the wine and too light on the meat. I ended up jumping into a fountain and nearly drowning. Thankfully I was rescued by my friends – including the Baggs brothers and Max Balegde. Then they had to carry me home – and to make things worse I dropped my phone in there. The next day I woke up looking like The Grudge. At least I was wearing a lovely pair of Hawaiian pyjamas, so every cloud has a silver lining."

Tropicana Partnership and World Cup

Barry said she has been 'loving' this summer's football action. To help other exhausted people recovering from marathon late-night football sessions, she teamed up with Tropicana Hydrate+ to hand out refreshments across London. Regarding surviving the late nights caused by inconvenient kick-off times, she urged fans to ensure they get sufficient sleep around the matches. "I'd say make sure you sleep," she advised. "I've never understood it when people are like, 'We're going to have to ride it out.' I have never been a 'ride it out' person. You need to go to bed, and you need to lie to yourself the next day you went to bed at 9pm. Make sure you chuck away your Oura Ring as well, which will tell you you're going to suffer."

Barry remains hopeful about England's chances of progressing further in the tournament. Asked whether they could go all the way and lift the trophy, she said: "God bless Harry Kane. A girl can dream!"
