Olivia Jade Giannulli and her older sister Bella were spotted in Los Angeles on Monday, marking their first public appearance since their parents announced their separation last month. The sisters presented a united front, wearing matching sweatsuits while grabbing breakfast in their hometown.
Family First Amidst Separation
This sighting comes just weeks after their mother, Lori Loughlin, and father, Mossimo Giannulli, revealed they were ending their 28-year marriage. According to a source speaking to People on October 3, the sisters are handling the situation with maturity and grace.
"There's no drama or resentment," the insider revealed. "They've seen how hard their mom and dad have tried over the years, and they're focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family."
The source added that while the situation has "obviously been tough," both Olivia, 26, and Bella, 27, are not taking sides and simply want their parents to be happy.
Moving Forward Personally and Professionally
Amid the family changes, Olivia Jade has been focusing on her career. The 26-year-old influencer was excited to launch a new headwear collection through her brand, B**** Knits, on Monday.
The personal transitions continue, as Olivia recently ended her on/off four-year relationship with actor Jacob Elordi. In what appeared to be a symbolic move, she attended a Sabrina Carpenter concert at Madison Square Garden on October 29, where she passionately sang along to the pop star's break-up anthem "Manchild."
The sisters have also experienced changes in their living situation. Both had been residing in their parents' six-bedroom $9.5M Hidden Hills mansion, which sold for an impressive $14.95M last month.
Parental Paths Diverge
Since the separation, Mossimo Giannulli has been pictured with 32-year-old stylist Hannah Harrison on multiple occasions, most recently on November 8. Harrison had previously told Us Weekly in October that they were "not dating" and were just "good friends."
Meanwhile, reports suggest Lori Loughlin "feels betrayed" by the situation. Page Six alleged she discovered "incriminating text messages" on Mossimo's phone and that he frequented the Robertson Boulevard club Skin.
The marriage had been under strain since the 2020 Varsity Blues scandal, where both parents pleaded guilty to paying a $500,000 bribe to secure their daughters' admission to USC. The sisters participated in the scheme by posing for fake crew photographs as part of their applications.
Loughlin served nearly two months at FCI Dublin in California, paying a $150,000 fine and completing 150 hours of community service. Mossimo received a harsher sentence, serving five months at FCI Lompoc, paying a $250,000 fine, and performing 250 hours of community service.
Despite the family's challenges, Olivia and Bella Giannulli appear determined to maintain family unity, demonstrating that some bonds can withstand even the most public of struggles.
