Emma Bunton Proves She's 'Absolutely Lovely' as Fan Recalls Kindness During Street Mob
Emma Bunton's 'true colours' shine as fan recalls kindness

A heartwarming fan encounter has proven that Emma Bunton's famously sweet 'Baby Spice' persona is no act, with a supporter recalling the singer's exceptional patience and kindness when she was swarmed in the street.

A Memorable Meeting with a Pop Icon

The memory was jogged for one admirer after seeing Emma Bunton, now 49, appear on ITV's Loose Women. Taking to a celebrity forum, the fan shared a story from the height of Spice Girls fame, stating simply: "I met Emma Bunton and she was absolutely lovely."

As reported by the Mail, the fan elaborated, revealing that Bunton was mobbed by multiple teenagers all asking for pictures. "She politely posed for lots of photos and we kept passing cameras and she was very patient," they wrote. "I saw her on Loose Women today and it reminded me how charming and friendly she was to us. Not everyone would have spent that long with about 6 cameras and a bunch of giggling teenage girls."

The 'True Her': Consistent Charm On and Off Screen

Another fan chimed in to say the account was completely believable based on Bunton's consistently calm and pleasant television demeanour. "I've never seen her displaying any arrogance at all," they pondered. "From your post, it would seem this is the true her."

While the global pop phenomenon of the 1990s has settled, Bunton remains in the public eye through select media appearances. She is a regular guest panellist on Loose Women and hosts a Sunday evening show on Heart Radio. The mum-of-two has also founded the eco-friendly nappy brand Kit & Kin.

Family Life and a Long-Awaited Wedding

Emma shares two sons, Beau Lee Jones, 18, and Tate Lee Jones, 14, with her husband, Jade Jones. The couple, who first started dating in 1998, have had an enduring on-off relationship. They briefly split in 1999, during which time Emma had a short fling with footballer Rio Ferdinand, before reconciling for good in 2004.

Jade proposed in 2006, but the pair waited years before finally tying the knot. In 2021, they surprised fans with a reveal of their intimate wedding. Emma looked every part the boho bride in a white minidress and flower crown, while Jade wore a tan Gucci blazer and trilby. She captioned the adorable snaps simply: "Mr and Mrs Jones!"

Speaking to Closer magazine back in 2008, Emma explained her preference for privacy, saying: "We don't need a wedding to justify our relationship. But if we ever do get married, I couldn't run off and do it in secret - my family would be so upset."

This latest fan recollection serves as a charming reminder that for Emma Bunton, the friendly and down-to-earth attitude that catapulted her to fame remains authentically part of her character decades later.
