Davina McCall's Mrs Claus Snaps After London Wedding

Television presenter Davina McCall has embraced the festive spirit, sharing a series of playful snaps where she transformed into a glamorous Mrs Claus. The fun-filled photos come just weeks after she tied the knot with celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas in a private London ceremony.

A Festive Transformation for the Podcast

The 58-year-old star took to Instagram on Monday to promote the Christmas Eve episode of her 'Begin Again' podcast with a festive fashion statement. In the images, Davina is seen frolicking on an armchair, wearing a coordinated red and white fur-lined outfit consisting of a cardigan and a mini-skirt.

She completed the eye-catching ensemble with striped red and white knee-high socks and a pair of glitzy gold sequined stilettos. Captioning the post, she humorously wrote: 'When the @beginagain team ask for a simple Christmas headshot…'.

Celebrating Newlywed Bliss

This festive display follows closely on the heels of her intimate wedding to 49-year-old Michael Douglas. The couple exchanged vows at Marylebone Town Hall in London earlier this month, merely two months after their surprise engagement in Ibiza.

For the occasion, Davina opted for a chic bridal look, swapping a traditional gown for a white fur-look coat, a matching lace hat, tights, and ankle-strap heels. Her new husband complemented her style in a bright blue suit. The heartwarming departure from the town hall was captured in photographs, with the couple supported by loved ones including Davina's 21-year-old daughter, Tilly.

A Powerful Message on Health

Beyond the celebrations, Davina has been courageously public about her recent health battles. In November 2024, she revealed a diagnosis of a rare colloid cyst brain tumour, undergoing a six-hour operation to remove the 14mm growth. Almost exactly a year later, on November 8, she shared that she had also been diagnosed with breast cancer six weeks prior, after discovering a lump while on the set of The Masked Singer.

Her experience profoundly influenced a recent emotional appearance on Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer 2025 broadcast. Presenting a live clinic segment from Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, Davina was moved to tears when a bowel cancer patient, Stewart, asked how she was doing.

Choking back emotion, she reassured him, 'I'm really good,' before sweetly cupping his face and thanking him for his kindness. Using the platform, she delivered a crucial public health message, urging viewers: 'Don’t be afraid, you are your own best defence. It is so important to pay attention to your own body, for you and for the people that love you.'

Davina confirmed that her breast cancer was caught 'very very early' but would still require a course of radiotherapy. She also displayed her wedding ring for the first time publicly during the charity show, marking a period of both personal joy and profound resilience.
