Davina McCall's Florida Honeymoon After Secret Wedding

Television presenter Davina McCall and her new husband, hairdresser Michael Douglas, have embarked on a sun-soaked honeymoon in Florida after secretly tying the knot earlier this month.

Sunshine Honeymoon After Early Festivities

The couple, who celebrated Christmas early with family in the UK last weekend, have left behind the British winter in search of warmer climes. Michael Douglas, 49, confirmed their travel plans during a live Instagram session from their hotel room, telling fans they were in the 'United States of the Americas' to relax and enjoy the festive period abroad.

In the playful broadcast, Davina, 58, could be seen in the background wrapped in just a towel as she got ready. Michael took the opportunity to thank followers for their wedding congratulations before fielding questions on hair care, his professional specialty.

A Secret London Wedding and Festive Fashion

The loved-up pair married in a small, private ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London earlier in December. For the occasion, Davina swapped a traditional wedding gown for a stylish white fur-look coat and matching lace hat, while Michael opted for a bright blue suit.

Their union was supported by close family, including Davina's 21-year-old daughter Tilly. The presenter first showed off her wedding ring during an appearance for Stand Up To Cancer 2025.

Ahead of their departure, Davina also shared a series of festive snaps on Instagram, transforming into a playful Mrs Claus. She wore a red and white fur-lined co-ord set with a mini-skirt, paired with striped knee-high socks and gold sequined stilettos.

Messages of Support and Health Updates

Fans flooded the couple's social media with warm messages wishing them a 'Merry Christmas' and a fabulous 'honeymoon', celebrating the 'gorgeous pair'.

The honeymoon comes after a profoundly challenging year for Davina on the health front. In November 2024, she revealed a diagnosis of a colloid cyst, a rare brain tumour, and underwent a six-hour operation to remove the 14mm growth.

Almost exactly a year later, on November 8, 2025, she disclosed a separate breast cancer diagnosis, caught after discovering a lump while on the set of The Masked Singer. She has since had successful surgery and will require radiotherapy, having stated the disease was detected 'very very early'.

The Florida trip marks a joyful and well-deserved respite for the couple following both their private nuptials and a period of significant personal resilience.
