Kristin Cavallari's Wild Night: From 'Sketchy' Party Escape to New Romance
Reality television personality Kristin Cavallari has shared a startling account of a Hollywood party she hastily departed from, only to encounter a potential new romantic interest at a subsequent gathering later that same evening. On the most recent installment of her podcast Let's Be Honest, the 39-year-old star detailed the peculiar events of the night.
The 'Slutty Valentine's Day' Party Invitation
Cavallari explained that she and a group of female friends received an invitation to an event promoted as a 'Slutty Valentine's Day party'. She immediately felt uneasy upon reading the dress code instructions. 'The dress code says, "Wear white if you're single, pink if you're heartbroken, black if you're horny and nude if you're slutty,"' Cavallari recounted. 'And in my head I'm like, I have black leather pants and a nude top... Slutty and horny!'
An Overwhelming and Unsettling Atmosphere
Upon arrival, Cavallari was taken aback by the extreme security measures in place. 'So we get there, and it is probably the craziest security I've ever seen for a party or an event,' she noted, mentioning that stickers were placed over guests' phone cameras. 'So shady. So I'm like, "Jesus Christ. What are we about to walk into?"'
The interior of the house was decorated in a 1970s style, but the group soon discovered a nightclub in the basement, complete with a cage and a stripper pole. Cavallari described the overall vibe as deeply uncomfortable. 'The energy was so sketchy,' she said. 'It felt like a drug den. It felt like - hookers. I didn't see one, I couldn't sit here and be like I saw any foul play. I didn't see any drugs. I didn't see - but it just felt like that.' She characterized the air as 'dirty', and she and her friends unanimously decided to leave after a mere four minutes.
A Welcome Change of Scene and a New Connection
After their quick exit, Cavallari and her friends proceeded to a different event: a wrap party that featured performances by rappers Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign. The atmosphere at this second party was markedly more relaxed and enjoyable, allowing Cavallari to finally unwind.
It was here that she met a 'really cute guy' with whom she has since been communicating. Cavallari revealed that he is nine years her junior and mentioned he might visit her in Nashville soon. 'And not stay with me,' she clarified. 'But like just take me on a date. Take me to dinner.'
Reflections on Privacy and Public Sharing
The podcast episode also touched upon Cavallari's recent decision to be more cautious about discussing her private life publicly. This shift came after her school-age sons informed her that their friends had heard intimate details from a previous podcast episode where she and her then-boyfriend, Mark Estes, played a drinking game and discussed sexual topics.
'I'll definitely pull back, and I feel like I've found this way to kind of say stuff without just saying it,' Cavallari stated. 'So this is actually the one thing that made me be like, Whoa, I need to watch what I'm saying.' She emphasized that while she isn't overly concerned about her own children's opinions, she wants to avoid causing them social discomfort among their peers.
