Candace Cameron Bure's Awkward S&M Party Mishap Revealed

Candace Cameron Bure Reflects on Cringeworthy Party Experience Ahead of Milestone Anniversary

In a candid revelation on her podcast, Candace Cameron Bure has recounted the most awkward and embarrassing moment she shared with her husband, Valeri Bure, just three months before they celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. The devout Christian couple were persuaded by an unnamed friend to attend what they believed would be a standard social gathering, only to find themselves in a shocking and uncomfortable situation.

A Night of Unexpected Revelations

The former child star, who turns 50 next month, described the event as an underground party with an S&M-like theme that she characterised as dark and demonic. Upon entering, Cameron was utterly stunned, with her eyeballs popping out of her head at sights she had never encountered before. She recalled looking at her husband, the 51-year-old retired NHL star, in disbelief, questioning how they ended up in such a place.

The couple did not linger, making an immediate hard U-turn to exit the premises. Cameron expressed her disgust, labelling the atmosphere as slimy, weird, and gross. She emphasised that they had no prior knowledge of what they were walking into, leading her to vow a cautious pause before ever agreeing to go out with that friend again.

Faith and Friendship: Core Values in Her Life

This incident underscores Cameron's strong belief that you are defined by the company you keep. She took the opportunity to praise her ministry partner, Shelene Bryan, whom she met at age 15. Bryan's direct approach to faith, asking about Cameron's walk with God, initially left her feeling like a deer in headlights, as she lacked a relationship with God at the time.

Cameron admires Bryan's fearless friendship and community spirit, noting how she wasn't afraid to check in and motivate others towards a better spiritual place. This reflection ties into her broader message about surrounding oneself with positive influences, especially as she approaches a significant personal milestone.

A Love Story Spanning Decades

Cameron and Bure's relationship began when she was just 19, introduced by her Full House castmate Dave Coulier at a Los Angeles charity hockey game. Their bond has only strengthened over the years, not just in love but also in business. In 2006, the inseparable pair co-founded Bure Family Wines in the Napa Valley with friend Joshua Peeples, later appointing their 26-year-old son Lev as vice president.

The Bures are proud parents to three children: 27-year-old daughter Natasha, 26-year-old son Lev, and 24-year-old son Maksim. Cameron's career, which skyrocketed with her role as D.J. Tanner in Full House and its Netflix continuation Fuller House, has been complemented by her family life and entrepreneurial ventures.

As she prepares to celebrate three decades of marriage, Cameron's story serves as a reminder of the unexpected twists life can bring and the importance of staying true to one's values amidst them.
