Blac Chyna Confirms Split from Rob Kardashian, Ending Reconciliation Rumours
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian Split Confirmed

Angela White, the rapper and model formerly known as Blac Chyna, has publicly confirmed her split from former fiancé Rob Kardashian, putting an end to months of intense speculation about a potential reunion. The declaration came via a pointed Instagram post this Tuesday.

Social Media Announcement Ends Months of Speculation

White, 37, made the situation clear with a candid Instagram caption that read: 'Guess whose ending the year single', followed by the words: 'You knew it, You and I'. This post directly contradicts the hopeful signals she had been sending just weeks earlier.

Back in October, while appearing as a keynote speaker at the Los Angeles Women's Expo, White had fuelled reconciliation rumours. When asked directly if she was getting back together with Kardashian, 38, the father of her nine-year-old daughter Dream, she described them as 'healing' and 'going with the flow.'

'We're healing and we're communicating and we're just going with the flow. And if God be, then it will be something,' she told the moderator. She even referred to Kardashian as 'my person' and, when prompted that they seemed 'on the path' to reuniting, she enthusiastically agreed, saying 'Alright you guys y'all heard first, we're on the path. We're on the journey!'

A Tumultuous History and Legal Battles

The couple's relationship has been famously volatile. They began dating in 2016 and welcomed daughter Dream that November, but split in early 2017. The breakup turned acrimonious when Kardashian publicly posted explicit images of White online, leading her to obtain a restraining order and sue him for invasion of privacy; that lawsuit was settled in 2022.

Subsequently, White filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kim, Khloé, and Kylie, alleging they sabotaged a reality TV deal by spreading false claims she assaulted Rob. During that trial, Kardashian gave emotional testimony alleging White had pointed a gun at him and hit him with a metal rod, claims she denied under oath. She lost the lawsuit earlier this year.

Co-Parenting and Moving Forward

Despite the deeply contentious past and recent legal clashes, sources indicate that White and Kardashian have managed to establish a functional co-parenting relationship for their daughter, Dream. White has also expressed a desire for more children, stating in October that she would prefer to expand her family with Kardashian rather than her other ex, rapper Tyga, with whom she shares 13-year-old son King Cairo.

While her latest social media post firmly closes the door on romance, it appears the focus for both parents remains on their shared commitment to their young daughter, navigating a complicated family dynamic in the relentless public spotlight.
