Brooklyn Beckham has ushered in the new year seemingly unconcerned by the ongoing public rift with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, who have made a fresh and emotional attempt at reconciliation.
New Year Celebrations Amidst Family Tensions
While the Beckham family feud simmers on, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, celebrated the arrival of 2026 in high spirits. The couple were seen enjoying a night out at a South Florida ultra club, where they partied into the early hours as rapper 50 Cent performed.
Images obtained by TMZ showed the pair with their arms raised and broad smiles, fully immersed in their own celebrations. This festive display stood in stark contrast to the apparent efforts being made by his parents back in the UK to heal the family divide.
The Beckhams' Heartfelt Social Media Plea
In a move interpreted as another olive branch, David and Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on New Year's Day to share a series of nostalgic posts. David initially posted a carousel of 20 images, reflecting on what he termed "unforgettable moments."
The photos prominently featured Victoria and three of their children—Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—but notably excluded any picture of Brooklyn. However, the former England captain followed this with a poignant throwback photo of just himself and a younger Brooklyn with their arms wrapped around each other.
"I love you all so much," David penned alongside a white heart emoji. He also shared a black-and-white image of all his children and Victoria, who was holding a baby Harper, captioned: "You are my life. I Love you all, Love Daddy x. On to 2026." Victoria reshared her husband's post on her own platform.
A Feud That Shows No Signs of Ending
Despite these public gestures, Brooklyn continues to live his life stateside with Nicola, appearing to snub his family's attempts at reconciliation. The fallout first became public around the time of David's 50th birthday, with fans noticing Brooklyn's absence from subsequent major family events.
This pattern has persisted for months. Brooklyn and Nicola skipped both parents' birthdays, failed to engage with family posts on Instagram, and were absent from Sir David's knighthood ceremony last year. The couple also chose to renew their wedding vows without any Beckham family members present.
Intriguingly, the division seems to extend beyond just Brooklyn and his parents. His brother, Romeo Beckham, 22, also opted against including Brooklyn in his own year-end social media roundup. Romeo tagged his parents, siblings Cruz and Harper, and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, writing: "Thanks 2025 now off to an even better 2026 Love you all." His post featured snaps from a summer yacht trip and David's knighthood medal, but none with Brooklyn.
As 2026 begins, the Beckham family saga continues, with public gestures of love met with private distance, leaving the question of a genuine reconciliation unanswered.
