Andy Cohen Reveals Botox and Weight Loss Behind Youthful NYE Look
Andy Cohen addresses plastic surgery speculation after NYE

Television personality Andy Cohen has publicly responded to speculation about his appearance following his turn as co-host on CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast from Times Square.

Addressing the Rumours Head-On

The 57-year-old Bravo star took to Instagram Threads to set the record straight after a fan questioned his noticeably youthful look. Cohen directly addressed the online chatter, writing that he had simply 'did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds!' He further clarified that being clean-shaven for the event, after months of sporting a beard, and having 'a lot of makeup on' contributed to his altered appearance.

The Weight Loss Journey Explained

Cohen's mention of significant weight loss follows a previous admission he made in September 2025. On his Sirius XM show, Andy Cohen Live, he opened up about using micro-doses of a GLP-1 medication, a popular class of weight loss drugs. He stated he was 'really unhappy with my weight' and that his doctor recommended the treatment not only for weight management but also to address plaque in his arteries and high blood pressure.

The host explained how the medication helped curb his cravings, particularly for the tempting snacks and meals available on the set of his show, Watch What Happens Live. 'My cravings for all that stuff dissipated,' he noted candidly.

A Festive Night Overshadowed

Cohen's refreshed look became a talking point after he appeared alongside Anderson Cooper for the live broadcast on Wednesday night. The event, however, was reportedly marred by an on-air tirade from Cohen about New York Mayor Eric Adams, which has allegedly put him 'on thin ice' with CNN executives.

Following the broadcast, Cohen shared highlights on social media, posting a photo of himself and Cooper in matching blue puffer jackets. He thanked his co-host and joked they were 'a tad overserved,' before asking his 5.6 million followers for their favourite moment of the show.
