The reality star, Pfeifer Hill, aged 23, clarified her reasons for skipping the reunion event in a detailed Instagram video. She emphasized her desire for authenticity, stating, "I want the first time that I speak out about the show to be on a platform that aligns with me and is one of my choosing. I want to tell my story on my own terms."
Unlike many Netflix dating programmes, the Age of Attraction reunion was broadcast on hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy's podcast, The Viall Files. Pfeifer hinted that she would have preferred an alternative medium to discuss her experiences, though she stressed this was not a criticism of the hosts or participants.

In her social media post, Pfeifer revealed she is now in a committed relationship, describing her partner as her "best friend" and noting, "Even though our relationship is relatively new, it is one of the biggest joys in my whole life." She shared that her boyfriend surprised her with a birthday trip to Japan, coinciding with the reunion filming schedule.
"Even if I had wanted to attend [the reunion] in the first place, I would have had to reschedule our trip. I always want my boyfriend to know that our relationship is my priority," she explained, underscoring her commitment to her new partner.

Age of Attraction is a unique dating experiment that brought together 40 singles aged 22 to 60, challenging them to find love without knowing their partner's age. Pfeifer had formed a connection with Derrick Fleming, 43, during the show, but their relationship ended off-screen, as confirmed by Derrick's solo appearance at the reunion.
