Adam Thomas Faces Focus Challenges on I'm A Celebrity...South Africa After Jimmy Bullard Conflict
Adam Thomas will be seen grappling with concentration issues in forthcoming episodes of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa, as the Emmerdale actor continues to reel from a dramatic confrontation with Jimmy Bullard on the reality series.
The 37-year-old star, renowned for his roles in Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, has encountered significant difficulties in the all-stars edition of Ant and Dec's survival show, with tensions escalating during recent events.
Upcoming Trial Puts Pressure on Celebrities
In Wednesday night's installment, Adam, alongside fellow contestants including Olympian Sir Mo Farah, Coronation Street's Craig Charles, Gogglebox icon Scarelett Moffatt, pop singer Sinitta, former Strictly Come Dancing participant Ashley Roberts, and football manager Harry Redknapp, will confront another demanding trial.
This challenge involves a competitive logic game titled The Key to Success, where participants must complete tasks individually, with the slowest performer facing elimination from the camp.
A preview clip shows Ashley Roberts informing the group about the trial, stating, "It's time for a challenge, one at a time, you will take on The Key To Success." Scarelett Moffatt humorously admits, "I am rubbish at these type of games," while Craig Charles remarks, "Imagine going now because you forget to hit the button."
However, Adam Thomas appears visibly distressed, emotionally confessing, "I was just trying to focus my mind, but I was gone," highlighting his struggle to maintain composure.
Fallout from Jimmy Bullard's Departure
This emotional turmoil follows a heated exchange with Jimmy Bullard, who abruptly left the camp after refusing to participate in a paired challenge with Adam. The former footballer's decision sparked outrage, as it directly impacted Adam's position on the show.
Jimmy told Adam, "Sorry Ad, so sorry. I’m a celebrity get me out of here," to which Adam responded with frustration, "Are you joking me bro? Jim c’mon man." Ant McPartlin intervened, noting, "You gotta think of Adam here, in the cage. He doesn’t want to go. He’s enjoying himself." Yet, Jimmy persisted with apologies, leaving campmates in disbelief.
Adam, realizing this meant his potential exit, exclaimed, "Jim don’t do this bro. Come on. Is that how we are going out?" His anger intensified as he added, "You f***ing taking the piss? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants."
Jimmy retorted, "Calm down, that is pathetic," prompting Adam to call him a "p***k" and accuse him of sabotaging his efforts. Adam argued, "I have done all that for him…if you wanted to go, f***ing go. Don’t take me with you. What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud and you said get me out of here."
Jimmy defended his actions by stating he was "not feeling it" and desired to return home, but Adam countered, "Go home in camp then. Don’t go home on my f**king watch. I am not a quitter. I don’t quit. Don’t do the show then bro." Jimmy firmly replied, "I choose when I come and when I go."
Fan Reactions Split Over the Incident
Viewers expressed mixed opinions on social media following the altercation. One fan commented, "I'd be angry too because he didn't even try he ruined it not just for Adam but for everyone #ImACeleb," while another noted, "I actually dont blame Adam for this! Adam loses his place because Jimmy couldn't be bothered? #imaceleb."
A third viewer shared, "Woah Adam is bring completely unreasonable. #ImACeleb," with a fourth adding, "Feel for Adam there and agree Jimmy should’ve gone in the morning on his own, but that reaction is too much. Ain’t playing for cash money son, and as someone who was having a day off the over day cause he weren’t feeling it.. can’t be both ways son #imaceleb."
I'm A Celebrity...South Africa continues to air weekdays at 9pm on ITV and ITVX, keeping audiences engaged with its intense drama and celebrity trials.
