Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay Seen Together Amid Family Wedding Feud
Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay seen amid family feud

Olympic champion Adam Peaty and his fiancée, Holly Ramsay, have been seen in public for the first time since news broke of a deepening family rift that has reportedly led to his mother being banned from their upcoming Christmas wedding.

A Tense First Sighting

The couple were photographed near a quiet London neighbourhood, presenting a united front amidst the swirling speculation. Adam Peaty was seen keeping his head down and moving briskly, while Holly Ramsay, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, appeared more pensive. Later images showed Adam driving away from the Ramsay family home with Holly getting into the front passenger seat.

Holly's straight dark hair was worn down, and she was captured glancing back over her shoulder with a neutral, slightly serious expression. She accessorised with a black handbag and wore black leggings with white socks and trainers for the low-key outing.

Police Involvement and Family Tensions

The sighting comes after a series of dramatic events. It was confirmed that on Sunday, 9 November 2025, Adam Peaty was met by police officers at Manchester Airport upon his return from his stag do. Two uniformed officers from the neighbourhood team spoke with the swimmer following a report of a public order crime.

A friend revealed to The Sun that the situation stemmed from threatening text messages. "Things escalated over the weekend when someone became increasingly abusive and threatening over text," the source said. "Adam was trying to enjoy his stag do and was getting freaked out by it all. He then received a threat that he’d be met off the plane. He told Holly who called the cops after consulting with her family." Police obtained details from the 30-year-old athlete before he left the airport via taxi.

The Heart of the Wedding Drama

At the centre of the conflict is the guest list for the couple's December wedding, which is set to be held at Bath Abbey. The trouble is thought to have begun when Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, was not invited to Holly's hen do, an event that featured high-profile guests like Victoria Beckham and Holly's mother, Tana Ramsay.

The situation worsened when Caroline's sister, Louise Williams, publicly criticised the decision on social media, calling it "divisive and hurtful." This message reportedly upset Adam and Holly, leading to the subsequent decision to ban his mother from the wedding entirely.

The fallout has been significant, with many family members now either uninvited or unable to attend. It is reported that the only family member from Adam's side still attending will be his sister, Bethany Peaty. His two brothers are not thought to be going. Concerns have also been raised about the cost of the event, with one relative telling the Daily Mail, "We were sent a ‘save the date,’ and it’s all these country houses. I’m on Universal Credit — I can’t afford that."

Despite the intense pressure and very public scrutiny, this latest sighting confirms that Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay are continuing to spend time together as they approach their festive wedding day.
