Jeremy Clarkson Confirms Clarkson's Farm Season 6 After Cancer

Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that season 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being filmed, sharing the news via Instagram after revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis in the final episodes of season 5. The 66-year-old former Top Gear host said he is “delighted” to announce the show’s return, adding that the news is “particularly good” for him given his recent health battle.

Clarkson’s Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

In the final two episodes of season 5, which premiered on June 21, 2026, Clarkson disclosed that he had been diagnosed with a “particularly aggressive” form of prostate cancer. He had earlier warned fans on social media that the episodes would be “a difficult watch,” deviating from the show’s usual “bucolic and charming and cheerful” tone. Clarkson revealed that the cancer was caught early and that he underwent surgery to remove part of his prostate.

On Saturday, he returned to social media to thank fans for their “kind messages” and encouraged men to get checked, quipping: “The more observant among you will have noticed I’m not dead. I’m not just not dead, I’m perfectly fine.”

Season 6 Confirmed

In an Instagram video posted on June 21, Clarkson stood in front of a tractor and announced: “So, a bit of a year. But I am delighted to tell you that season 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being filmed. It’s in production. And that’s particularly good news for me because, well if you know, you know, and if you don’t know, you need to watch season five.” The post was captioned: “Delighted to confirm that Series 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is in production.”

Fans celebrated the news, with comments such as “So glad we get another series and so glad that Jeremy is okay” from Leanne, and “How happy I am for a bloke I’ve never met, to be free of cancer. You’re a national treasure Jeremy” from another viewer.

Remission and Urgent Call for Checks

In an interview with The Times, Clarkson declared himself “the world’s luckiest man” after a follow-up PSA test two months ago showed no indication of cancer, meaning he is in remission. He said: “It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble. This is why I have to say to everybody who’s reading this, please, please, please go and get checked. It’s not uncomfortable, it’s not undignified. And it’s a no-brainer. I did, and that’s why I’m sitting here talking to you 11 months down the line. I’ve seen so many people die of cancer. It doesn’t bear thinking about what it must be like to live knowing that an illness is going to kill you.”

Clarkson still requires regular blood tests and monitoring but remains positive and hopeful the cancer will not return.

Emotional Revelation on the Show

During a discussion about harvesting with co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland, Clarkson said: “I’ve got cancer.” A stunned Cooper replied: “No, you haven’t. Where?” Clarkson responded: “Where it is is of no concern of anybody. I’ve known since May. I had a medical, you remember, back in May. I disappeared off the other week, and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early, so the treatment will be, you know. I was praying we could get the harvest done, and then I could go and get some treatment, but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle.” Cooper told him: “Look after yourself, you go and do… if you need anything just ring.”

Later in the episode, Clarkson reflected: “So we started the year, and I had coronary heart disease, and ended it with me having cancer. We can dwell as much as we like on all the bad things that have happened on the farm, but I think it is better now, at the end of the year, to focus on things that have happened that are good.”

Season 5 ended on a cliffhanger with Clarkson rushed to hospital. He told viewers from his medical bed: “If this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone.”
