A man has been arrested following a knife attack on a busy street in Swansea, leaving another man hospitalized. The incident occurred on St Helen's Road at approximately 11:40 am on Friday, June 19.
Arrest and Investigation
South Wales Police confirmed that a 35-year-old man from the Blaenymaes area of Swansea has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent. He is currently in police custody.
The victim, a 38-year-old man, was taken to hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Police have stated that both men are known to each other and the incident is being treated as isolated, with no other suspects being sought.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "Officers attended St. Helen’s Road, Sandfields, Swansea at around 11:40am on Friday, June 19, following a report of a man with a knife attempting to attack another man."
"A 35-year-old man from Blaenymaes has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent. He is currently in police custody."
