All six defendants appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today, each facing charges of assisting acts with intent to pervert the course of justice. The accused individuals are identified as Nicholas McCoy, 22, from Compton Crescent in Chiswick; Jayden Clement-Bryan, 24, from Southville Close in Feltham; Mozahedul Alam, 26, from St Thomas Road in Chiswick; Shafwan Meah, 20, also from St Thomas Road in Chiswick; Ali Hindawi, 24, from Accolade Avenue in Southall; and Adan Hindawi, 25, from Mostyn Grove in Tower Hamlets.
Prosecutor Davi Burns stated in court, 'These charges arise out of the murder of Blue Stevens who was murdered by a male Youssef Razak. Mr Razak has now fled the country, these defendants have assisted Mr Razak to flee the country and generally escaping the course of justice.'
Additional Allegations and Specific Roles
Four of the men face further charges related to the destruction of evidence and facilitating the escape. Specifically, McCoy, Clement-Bryan, and brothers Ali and Adan Hindawi are additionally charged with helping to burn a car that was used in the murder. Alam and his sibling Meah are accused of assisting in booking a ferry for Razak to flee the country, while Adan Hindawi is alleged to have provided a vehicle for the escape. In a more direct involvement, Ali Hindawi is accused of giving Razak his own passport to travel using false documents.

Mr Stevens and his partner were intercepted by the attacker while they were on their way to dinner at Nusr-Et, a steakhouse operated by celebrity chef Salt Bae. Detectives are exploring multiple potential motivations behind the killing, including the possibility that it was an attempted robbery targeting the gold timepiece Mr Stevens was wearing at the time.
