A major police operation is underway to find two teenage girls who vanished from their West Dunbartonshire community two days ago. Naomi Doran, aged 17, and Aimee Ivatt, aged 15, were last seen in the Alexandria area on the evening of Friday, 16 January.
Desperate Search Across Central Scotland
Officers from Police Scotland have launched a significant search, appealing directly to the public for assistance. The force believes the two friends are together and may have travelled a considerable distance from where they were last seen. There is a possibility they have moved more than 30 miles, from Alexandria, near Dumbarton, to the Bellshill area in North Lanarkshire.
Authorities have also indicated the pair have known links to Paisley, broadening the scope of the investigation. The search is concentrated on these locations as police and concerned families work to trace their movements.

Naomi Doran is described as around 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build and long brown hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a white or grey hooded jumper and a pair of blue jeans.
Aimee Ivatt is also around 5 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build. She has long red or auburn hair. She was last seen wearing a black body warmer, and may also have been wearing a black puffer jacket and blue ripped jeans.
