A Plymouth man has been handed a significant prison sentence for a horrifying and unprovoked hammer attack on a sleeping victim.
Joshua Hart, 29, was sentenced to 13 years behind bars at Bristol Crown Court after being found guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The court heard how Hart launched a vicious assault on his victim as he slept in his own bed.
