A murder investigation is underway in Nottingham after a young man was stabbed to death in a horrific daylight attack.
Emergency Response on Abbotsford Drive
Emergency services rushed to Abbotsford Drive in the St Ann's area of the city at approximately 12.50pm on Monday, November 10. They discovered a man who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
Despite the immediate efforts of paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service at the scene, the victim, a 20-year-old man, was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
Police Launch Manhunt for Attacker
Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed they have launched a murder enquiry following the fatal incident. The road remains cordoned off as a team of detectives conducts a thorough forensic examination of the area.
In an official statement, the force said: "Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 20-year-old man has died following a stabbing in St Ann’s. We were called to Abbotsford Drive at around 12.50pm today after a man was found with stab wounds."
