Blu Zeke Daly, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly, a 26-year-old from Manchester, New Hampshire, has been charged with one count of attempted murder of a federal officer and one count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon. The incident took place early Sunday morning in Pittsburg, a small town of approximately 800 residents located at the Canadian border.
According to investigators, the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on Sunday. A Border Patrol agent encountered Daly driving alone near the border late Saturday and followed him for a distance. Daly then arrived at the Pittsburg Port of Entry, which was closed at the time. The agent activated his emergency lights and exited his vehicle, at which point Daly turned and fired a handgun at the agent. The agent returned fire with his service weapon, shooting Daly.
