Shocking Details Emerge in Teenager's Frozen Body Case

New disturbing evidence has surfaced in the investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was discovered in the trunk of singer D4vd's impounded Tesla. According to recently published photos, the 20-year-old musician - now officially a suspect in the case - was living in a rental property containing a freezer allegedly large enough to accommodate a human body.

This revelation follows investigators' confirmation that Rivas' body had been decapitated and frozen before its discovery in early September. The developing case has taken several grim turns as authorities piece together what happened to the teenager.

The Freezer That Could Hold a Body

TMZ published photographs from the rented house showing a kitchen equipped with a substantial KitchenAid refrigerator and freezer combination. The freezer compartment measured approximately 74 inches in height, 14 inches in width, and 27 inches in depth, with temperature capabilities reaching as low as -8 degrees Fahrenheit.

Forensic experts note that Rivas, who stood 5'3" and weighed 120lbs, could have potentially fit within the appliance if the shelves were removed. The victim's body was found in a bag with her arms and limbs severed, making concealment in such a space theoretically possible.

Additional evidence includes a social media clip from September 2024 showing the singer, whose real name is David Burke, in a house with what appears to be a large appliance box in the background that could have contained a freezer.

Gruesome Discovery and Investigation Challenges

Sources close to the investigation revealed that when the teenager's remains were discovered, the body had not only been dismembered but decapitated and chopped into pieces. The remains were described as 'partially frozen' and in the process of thawing when found in the Tesla's front trunk.

This state of decomposition presents significant challenges for investigators. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner may struggle to determine the exact cause of death due to the body's condition and the freezing-thawing process it underwent.

Los Angeles Police Department officers made the grim discovery after responding to reports of a foul odour emanating from the vehicle. The Tesla had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills before being moved to an impound lot, where it remained for several days before the body was found.

Expanding Investigation and Digital Evidence

While D4vd has been named as a suspect, he has not been charged with any crime at this time. The investigation has expanded to include a second suspect, according to revelations made on the TMZ network's podcast.

Defence attorney Mark Geragos and TMZ Founder Harvey Levin discussed their findings on an episode of '2 Angry Men', revealing that the LAPD has constructed a detailed timeline of the crime using social media posts, cell phone records and Tesla tracking data.

"They have triangulated this to the point where they've got a chart at LAPD that you would not believe," Geragos shared. "They've got this thing down to a timeline that's almost by the minute."

People magazine reported similar information from a police source, adding that the unnamed second suspect likely participated in disposing of the body rather than the murder itself.

The case continues to develop as investigators work to piece together the final moments of Celeste Rivas' life and identify all parties involved in her tragic death.
