South Wales Police have launched a manhunt after a vicious assault in Cardiff left a victim fighting for his life. The attack took place in the Compton area, with emergency services rushing to the scene late on Tuesday night.
Details of the Attack
The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained severe head injuries during the violent altercation. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to University Hospital of Wales, where he remains in critical condition.

Detective Inspector Rhys Jones stated: "This was a brutal attack that has left a man with life-changing injuries. We're following several lines of enquiry and urge anyone with information to come forward immediately."
Officers have cordoned off the area while forensic teams conduct a thorough examination. Police are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in Compton between 10pm and midnight on Tuesday.
