Masked Thieves Raid Harry Redknapp's £5m Mansion

Former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp's £5 million home in Sandbanks was broken into by masked thieves wielding sledgehammers. The 78-year-old and his wife Sandra, also 78, were not at the property at the time of the burglary.

The gang reportedly stole Mrs Redknapp's jewellery and other luxury items after smashing through the front door. The house is currently on the market as the couple await a move to a new villa.

CCTV captured the masked criminals taking valuables, with a source describing the raid as 'clearly organised'. 'The raiders must have known the house was empty,' the source told The Sun. 'They used lump hammers and a sledgehammer to smash the front door open.'

A representative for Redknapp said: 'Harry doesn't want to make a fuss. There was no one in the house at the time and we don't want to comment on what was taken. It's a matter for the police.'

Redknapp, who last managed Birmingham City in 2017, has enjoyed a long career in football, including spells at Bournemouth, West Ham, Southampton, Tottenham and QPR. He has been married to Sandra since 1968 and they have two sons, Mark and Jamie, the latter a former Liverpool and Tottenham player now a Sky Sports pundit.
